Those with men in your lives...

I've made it my personal goal to do something for my husband every week. This week, my goal is to be selfless. Granted you shouldn't stop after a week, just emphasize it.
Do something special for your man, he is doing the best he can. Make him feel special. I think society emphasized too much on how the guy always has to be the one doing the work to be romantic.

Instead of waiting around, improve yourself by being a better wife or girlfriend. Do something special for your man this valentine's. Let him know how much he means to you. :)
"Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give."
Richard, you are my world.
*You take good care of me.
* You understand me better than anyone else especially when I don't say anything. (mind-reader I'm telling you)
*You attempt to cook especially when you know how much I don't enjoy doing it.
* You put up with my incredibly silly self and laugh anyway.
*You teach me everyday how to relax instead of being my normal OCD-self.
*You make me feel loved with the little things that you do like kissing me on the forehead just because I'm around.
*You let me warm my freezing hands and feet on you even though you hate that.
*I love the way you smile and laugh. It is so contagious.
*I love how you humor me in all the ridiculous things I want to do.
*I love that you are my best friend.

*But most of all, I love how you chose me to spend eternity with.
I love you babe!

Dudes

I've decided that guys have a secret language that women only sometimes get to hear....okay maybe it's just me and I'm oblivious but it is still funny to me! Around campus you tend to hear the most ridiculous things. This may or may not be because you only hear about a sentence of the conversation but hey.
I have often made fun of my darling husband who is incredibly intelligent around me, school, family, etc. He is still silly of course, but he 'talks' smart. What you may have already guessed, is when they talk to their friends. This could range from high school, mission, college, long term or short term friendship, most guys talk like this, "Ah man that is so sick!" and this, "Dude man that was awesome!" and the infamous, "WHAZZZUUUPP??!!" I don't know if they can help it but I hear it all the time! It's like they can go from intelligent to jr. high in less than 3 seconds flat. There must be a switch in the brain that causes it to do so when you come in contact with friends.
I will never understand boys. Can't live with them, can't live without them.

Can you not see him saying, "Yo, yo what up man?" in this picture? So typical.

Beautiful Nail...Just One

Wow it has been almost 2 months since last I posted. So sorry old chaps....sistas....whatever, you get the idea.
So tonight I went with my sissy to Idaho Falls to have a girls night. What do girls do on girls night? Get your nails done and eat ice cream of course! By the way they did a fantastic job and honestly my nails have never looked better. It was great fun! We mostly talked, poor ladies, they were just doing our nails probably bored to death with us or maybe grateful that they didn't have to talk to us....however you look at it, it worked out alright. :)
During this fabulous time we are having, I am restraining myself the entire time not to do something incredibly foolish which would be to quote Anjelah Johnson a comedian on the matter. It is absolutely hilarious, but probably not so hilarious to those who work there. You could say that they would consider you racist and rude, but I can't help myself when I find something funny...I just can't go and repeat it wherever I want is the problem.
One of the brochures talked about the nail polish and how it turns into more of a gel instead of paint when dried under a UV light. I could not help myself from saying, "Would you like crital gel?" It still makes me laugh every time. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, please enjoy this clip. Be warned, you will laugh, you may even laugh hard, but I wouldn't repeat it in certain places. (Nail salons to be exact) Enjoy! Click Here.
